Multi-Association Comment Letter Regarding the new Strengthening H-1B Rule

Compete America joined 11 other industry and academic organizations in sending a comment letter to DHS expressing concerns regarding the Department’s rulemaking entitled “Strengthening the H-1B Nonimmigrant Visa Classification Program” and what DHS will do next concerning the new rule after the federal court set aside its interim final status. The comment letter notes that DHS would benefit from careful consideration of feedback from the regulated community before revisiting these issues and because there are serious failings in the approach adopted by the Department in its Interim Final Rule that should not be repeated.
