Multi-Sector Comment Letter Regarding the New H-1B Wage Prioritization Rule

Compete America joined 17 other multi-sector organizations in sending a comment letter to DHS expressing concern that the Department’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking entitled “Modification of Registration Requirement for Petitioners Seeking To File Cap-Subject H-1B Petitions” forward a policy shift that is not permitted under the Immigration and Nationality Act’s statutory language and, even if lawful, proposes a prioritization construct that would be damaging to the economic success of the United States.
